Science Lab
"Learning by Doing" is taken very seriously at Srihari Global School, Asansol and thus students are encouraged for pratical learning. The school laboratories are meant to be exploration zones, where children under teacher's supervision question, challenge and explore the various concepts that they learn in the course of their subject studies.
Srihari Global School proudly boasts of having Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Composite Science Labs, fully equipped with the best available equipments and materials which is condusive for healthy learning.
Maths Lab
The Mathematics lab is a place where students can learn and explore various mathematical concepts and verify various mathematical facts and theorems. Teachers conduct variety of activities at all levels. Students get ample opportunities for individual participation in the process of learning.
The Maths lab has games and equipments that leds the children do hands on learning while enjoying the lessons learned. Models on mathematical concepts, charts and wall hangings decorate the entire lab.
Computer Lab
The school has state-of-the-art computer lab to cater to students at Junior, Middle and Senior School levels so that every student can keep abreast with IT enhanced learning programmes. They gain proficiency and dexterity in current technology with optimized supportive infrastructure with the latest hardware and software and a team of extremely competent staff. The school is committed to a progressive and evolving approach to ensure that our students have the advantage of being familiar with up to date technology advances in IT based educational initiatives.
The computer lab serves as the center for teaching computer use to whole classes, by a specialist computer teacher. Classroom teachers also use the lab with their classes for research, or for creating technology-based projects.
Social Sci. Lab
The Social Science Lab is well furnished with a seating capacity of 30 students focusing on spatial skills. It includes: Globes, Topographical Maps, Working and non working 3D Models, Historical political maps of various expires and civilizations, Geographical and political charts 2D and 3D models, Models made by students during exhibitions.
Some of the concepts where imagination is difficult are taught with the help of models like Solar system, land forms, rotation and revolution of the earth etc., spacious and effective lab breaks monotony in teaching and learning processes. It helps in reshaping the environment of the class, giving the students an opportunity to go beyond the school and preparing them for the workplace.
